This has to be one of the WORST films on this site. Narration limited in content and delivery, odd singing, the film lacks entertainment, instruction or information. To steal a line from Paul Roberts, "Weak in Content".

An earlier reviewer mentioned the visual resources here, there are also some wonderful weird sounds to be pulled from this.

This is a boring film That being said, the footage of disasters are quite good material for for my video mashups-I'm giving it five stars!

The simple message that the creators of this film desire to convey is that natural and man-made disasters can occur at any time, thus making it necessary for mankind to implement and follow precautionary measures when danger arrives. Don't expect any practical advice on what to do in the event of an emergency, however, because this production is more interested in engaging in lengthy poetic meandering about the state of the earth and its environmental ambivalence. The folk singing near the beginning of the film is excruciating, although there is some great eye-catching disaster footage and some extraordinarily goofy scenes of bumbling citizens quickly moving around in order to shield themselves against the onslaught of an approaching tornado. If you relish viewing lousy films, you will find Your Chance to Live: Earthwatch to be a perennial favourite.

Strange film which purports to say something about the environment.. Or something. Yes, Earth is a big mysterious planet, it can be gorgrous (cue Folk song here!) or it can be deadly (cue negative dupe here). Main thing focuses on, I guess, a tornado, and everyone running like the dickens away from it. And THATS IT!! I am again, gobsmacked trying to figure out what I just watched..

If you lived through the 1970s this interminable slop will bring back painful memories of the heinous tripe we had to endure in the media. Replete with the tedious collage style of the era, includes a pompous, self inflating diatribe about the mystical power of nature and an Earth Day style scolding about pollution. Narrated by "Oh! That guy," (you'll instantly recognize the voice) the atrocious screen writing includes 70s gems like "Nature is sometimes peaceful; often, suddenly and violently, not." (I'm not making this up - that little gem appears at 3:42 on the player time scale). The John Denver knock-off sound track is a "must listen" (not!). Programming note: This film has nothing to do with tsunamis or teenage couples - the summary is in error. It's a painfully pointless film about preparedness.
